This camera combines the proven technology used in previous Cine Alta cameras with a totally new ergonomic design to create a genuine film-style digital cinematography camera. The F-23 can be used with an array of traditional film camera accessories without modification to make the transition from traditional celluloid production to digital, virtually seamless.

This camera features:

• Full-Bandwidth RGB 4:4:4 HD Digital Image Capture when connected with its companion SRW-1 HDCAM SR Recorder.
• 1-60 FPS Variable Frame Rate Image Capturing to enable Over or Under Cranking Effects with immediate field playback.
• State-of-the-Art 1920 x 1080 Ultra Wide Band CCD Block coupled with a newly developed prism system allows the camera to capture images with a color space equivalent to that of 35mm film.
• 13 Stops of Latitude in the S-LOG Gamma Mode.
• New 14-Bit A/D Converter and Advanced DSP LSI allows users more freedom in highlight and depth-of-field control, as well as expanding the use of in-camera effects such as multi-matrix, S-LOG gamma, detail and skin tone corrections.
• Multi-Format Image Capture allows users to choose from eight different frame rates including 1080/23.98P, 24P and 1080/60I, 50I.
• Built-in Down Conversion output.
• 12V and 24V Accessory Power Outputs eliminates the need for external power supply equipment for lens accessories.
• New HDVF-C35W 3.5 Inch LCD Color Viewfinder with ultra-wide viewing angle.
• Memory Stick storage of camera setup parameters.
• Assignable Switches for frequently used functions.
