Liman Video Rental Co. is proud to showcase two of the newest members of Sony’s Cine Alta lineup, the HDC-F950 full bandwidth digital 4:4:4 Multi-Format Camera and its VTR companion the SRW-1 4:4:4 / 4:2:2 HDCAM SR Portable VTR.

The HDC-F950 provides the highest possible picture quality and color performance for today’s digital motion picture productions.

This camera features:

*Full bandwidth Dual Stream 4:4:4  3GB digital RGB signal processing or Single Stream 4:2:2  1.5GB outputs.
*Enhanced Highlight Handling is improved by approximately one T-Stop as compared to the current HDC-950 camera. This improvement extends the camera’s exposure latitude for scenes containing challenging highlight regions. This not only gives greater freedom in highlight control but also in depth of field.
*Long Term Exposure Function enables operators to alter exposure time to acquire images under conditions of very low scene illumination. This feature is also useful when “Under Cranking”.
*Special Gamma Feature allows operators to quickly set-up and load an optimized gamma curve with similar contrast characteristics to a specified film gamma curve.
*Fiber Optic Connection allows a direct 4:4:4 connection to the SRW-1 Portable HDCAM SR VTR.

The SRW-1 HD Video Cassette Recorder and SRPC-1 HD Digital VTR Adapter form the first Sony full-bandwidth 4:4:4 portable VTR system.

This VTR features:
